The Story Bridge Collection
The bridge can be seen as a metaphor for crossing over or for bridging two sides. Foe me, the Story Bridge represents an important icon for the city of Brisbane.
Over a period of two years, I found myself making regular visits to the Story Bridge.
Attracted by the architectural structure and also the dichotomy of the personal stories of peoples' lives, events and circumstances that connect them to this site.
The cacophony of traffic sounds, boats and industry with the passing of human voices makes an interesting scenario within the frame of photography also as a form of bridge.
Although I created this series several years ago, I have the intention of returning and capturing a second series when the time is right.
