I was reflecting on the Aboriginal Dreamtime where through dreaming connection is made with ancestors. The notion of contacting loved ones, ancestors or other spirits who can help us overcome moments of difficulty through a kind of dreaming is part of ancient or metaphysical conceptualisation. The notion of spiritual connection is evoked in this image, a consoling figure in a tree, a deep forest at night or perhaps the subconscious depths of heart experienced in the surreal hours of early morning finding light.
